This is a Holding Page for The Mid Life Opportunity. The website is currently being tested and will be launched in autumn 2010.

What is The Mid Life Opportunity?

The Mid Life Opportunity is a community website for people in midlife. We've defined mid-life as a state of mind rather than a physical age so it's aimed at people who can't claim to be young any longer but who still feel young. 'Generation Y and beyond ...'

If you grew up with Blue Peter, Magpie and roller skates, rode a chopper bike and played 'paddle pong', The Mid Life Opportunity is probably the place for you. Maybe you were a punk in your youth or even a hippie. You remember John Travolta 'Stayin alive', the Bay City Rollers and you wore flares or a mini skirt. If you're female you probably fell in love with David Cassidy or Paul McCartney, wore clothes from Biba (shoulder pads?) and had a boyfriend with a perm!.

You owned a Sony Walkman, maybe a Sinclair ZX Spectrum and you might have used a mobile phone that was as big as a house brick.

You remember Mick Jagger and Pete Townsend when they were young and you or some of your mates drove a Ford Cortina.

Perhaps you grew up with the Beatles, The Monkees and Tamla Motown, you thought Elvis Presley was the coolest thing on two legs, Sean Connery was James Bond and you never missed an episode of The Man from UNCLE.

If these ring any bells, join the community! Meet new friends, start a new relationship, contribute to the forums, chat and interact. Ask each other for advice. Sign up for FREE membership below.

There is also a serious side to The Mid Life Opportunity. Many people find themselves having to make potentially life-changing decisions in their midlife. They may lose their job or their relationship may break up, for instance. The Mid Life Opportunity will provide advice and guidance for members across a number of areas, to help to overcome the issues that life has thrown at them.

If you are in any of the following situations, The Mid Life Opportunity can help you:
